![]() I was just curious if it could be fixed because normally reloading an OS is easy. This is a pretty cheesy unit and hardware like this should be relegated to Chromebooks and not Windows systems. I will suggest you to check the BIOS settings provided below to see if you have similar settings. I am not sure why this unit is so quirky and why you cannot install from a USB flash drive but it installed without a hitch from the microSD card, provided the system was setup to boot as EFI/UEFI and a 64 bit OS was installed. I think maybe EFI will not boot in 32 bit mode. It didn't work so I did a 64 bit OS and all was well. I am not even sure what this thing came with but I would have picked a 32bit OS with the limited CPU and RAM. It also appears that a 32bit OS will not install. Make sure the computer is set to boot from EFI in setup if you have't done that. Generate an EFI/GPT installation media through Rufus on another system.
